AAU INNOVATE - Event planning
Access to the building
The AAU INNOVATE ground floor is open to everyone Mon-Friday 7:30-16:00. All employees at AAU can access the ground floor of the building outside of these opening hours, with their AAU Card and code.
NOTE: As a planner of an event after hours, YOU are responsible for securing access to the building via you own AAU card and code or via borrowing a guest card in our info.
If access to upper floors is needed, you will need to get temporary access, or borrow a guest card.
Temporary access: You gain access by listing the names and AAU card numbers of members of the planning group, and specifying the timespan in which you need access to the building (upper floors, elevators, meeting rooms) and sending this to Karina Sletten Christensen (kschr@adm.aau.dk).
Guest cards can be retrieved at the reception desk (if more than 5 is needed, it must be confirmed in advance). Guest cards MUST be returned at the reception before leaving the building.
Catering
All catering is serviced by Foodhub. Order your catering as soon as possible, even if you don't know the exact number of participants.
Sign up via www.chevalblanc.kanpla.dk or download the app Cheval Blanc and create yourself as a user. You must use Canteen ID: 6501 to hit the Foodhub. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the staff at the Foodhub (kontakt@foodhub-aalborg.dk) and we will do our best to help.
Large events
Please inform Campus Service:
- when your event stretches outside of regular opening hours
- when the gate to upper floors needs to be open during the event
- when you need extra cleaning
- when you need flags outside the building
- when you need windows cleaned
- when you need extra cleaning of outside environment.
You must fill out a request-form and send it to AAU Booking/Campus Service aaubooking@adm.aau.dk (must be sent 4 weeks before event).
WIFI
Guests at AAU INNOVATE can use the AAU-1-Day WIFI. You can download the app and retrieve the codes for today and the following days.
Info screens
If you want your event program or promotion slide to run on the info screens during your event, please send your content to Morten Randbøll (mr@adm.aau.dk).
IT Support
AAU INNOVATE does not offer IT-support ‘in-house’. For help setting up and running IT, contact AAU IT Support: support@its.aau.dk.
Costs
Using AAU INNOVATE is free of charge. Costs may occur when events depend on the move and perhaps the storage of larger furniture.
Extra
Red carpet and flags at the two main entrances may be provided on special occasions.
